The dizzy is connected to the negative side of the coil, but take care not to connect this pin on the coil directly to ground. It can be tempting as it is marked "-" but the coil is meant to discharge through the spark plugs.

Moving onto the headlamps..   The extra green wire is most likely for parking ligts, some cars have these switch-on automatically as soon as the ignition key is turned (same as pin 30 on the headlamp relay).   The black wire should go to ground.

The body is originally a "Plastfabriken Buggy" which is a Swedish close clone of the American Fiber-Tech Manx. The easiest way to tell them apart is the nose section which ends higher up on the Swedish version (mine has been modified).

In their heyday, they summed up a carefree, fun-loving generation – and their popularity is growing once more. Whatever the decade, though, individuality has been a key part of the buggy scene. To prove the point, we brought together six owners of various buggies, from a retro detailed idewinder to another, slammed Sidewinder via a Kango that’s been used as daily transport for 21 years, to an almost mainstream long wheelbase Doon. Each owner has a clear idea of what a beach buggy should be, and each has created their own unique interpretation of the theme. Let’s take a closer look...  less
